Eatbch Charity Marks first anniversary
The bitcoin-funded nonprofit organization Eatbch has now celebrated his first birthday. The young charity is already working in Venezuela and South Sudan and is using BCH donations to help those in need.
José von Eatbch reported on Honest.Cash: "Exactly a year ago, my brother Gabriel and I launched this initiative / project to help the Venezuelans in need, and it was quite a ride! We started with a donation of only $ 5 thanks to Silverblood and used this first donation to give 40 Arepas in one place only. After a few months, every week we gave thousands of meals at 23 locations in 6 states! I know it's a cliché to say so, but I really did not expect this project to grow that way. Not only because of the amazing support we received from the BCH community, but also because of the situation in the country. a situation that was overwhelming for all of us. "
The founder of the charity also added: "Unfortunately, the price erosion has affected our funds and we have enough help to help only a few weeks. On this special occasion, I ask you to donate, as much as possible, to help those who suffer from poor economic policies and to show that cryptocurrencies are a superior form of money. "
H & M Distributors accept payments in crypto currency
H & M Distributors, Inc., a US-based lighting supplies distributor, announced that it has decided to accept payments from corporate customers via cryptocurrency. This is done through a new partnership with Crypto's e-commerce platform Chimpion, which includes payments with Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin Diamond (BCD), Bitcoin Core (BTC), Dash (DASH), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Zcoin (XZC) and more. The move is designed to enable retailers around the world to purchase products from the US wholesaler with faster transactions, lower transaction fees and no currency conversion fees compared to traditional payment methods.
"After more than 20 years in the industry, we see ourselves as experts in specialty lighting," said Herb Needham, CEO of H & M Distributors. "By accepting payments in crypto currency, we can make this know-how accessible to more customers by eliminating many of the obstacles that have hindered international sales. What we sold was the billing system, which allows us to convert crypto payments immediately into a USD equivalent. "
New vanity URL service from Atomicpay
Atomicpay, a Thailand-registered payment startup, has announced that its pay URL vanity URL service will be changed from atomicpay.io/u/username to the shorter and more memorable format of atomicpay.me/username. With the Vanity URL service, end users can quickly find out how to pay for crypto-currency and merchants can request payments via text messaging, messaging app, social media, email, and even printed business cards.
As mentioned earlier, Atomicpay is a platform based on QR code payments for merchants who want to be paid directly by customers without involving a third party. The company reported in January that more than 1,700 retailers from various parts of the world, including Thailand, Venezuela, Turkey and Colombia, have entered the platform without a depository visit. The system supports BCH, BTC, LTC and other common cryptocurrencies as well as 156 Fiat currencies.
