President Donald Trump apparently doesn't know how to pronounce the name of one of America's most famous national parks.
Trump spoke twice as "Yo-Semite" during a speech following the signing of the non-partisan "Great American Outdoors Act" at the White House on Tuesday.
"When young Americans experience the breathtaking beauty of the Grand Canyon, when their eyes widened in astonishment when Old Faithful stormed into the sky, when they looked at Yosemites, Yosemites, towering sequoias, their love for the country becomes stronger and they know that every American really has a duty to preserve this wonderful legacy, "said Trump.
Yosemite is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the country – 4.5 million people traveled to the park in 2019. according to the National Park Service.

Trump's critics quickly mocked the wrong pronunciation of the president. A Twitter account for the Democratic National Committee divided A video clip of the moment with the comment: "If you are the president and don't know how to pronounce" Yosemite ".
Trump and his allies have repeatedly attacked Joe Biden, the alleged Democratic presidential candidate, for wrongly speaking in various contexts. They used these attacks to support a broader argument that Biden is mentally deficient and unable to act as president. Trump called him "Sleepy Joe".
