Rajiv Shah is a software engineer with experience in developing cross-platform mobile software. His fascination with programming was sparked by working with Scratch and Lego League in elementary and middle school. After learning the basics of Java in the eighth grade, he became interested in a wide range of technological areas, including machine learning, robotics, and cybersecurity, to name but a few. After graduating from high school this year, he plans to study computational data sciences at Penn State University.
After discovering IOTA in 2017, Rajiv wanted to contribute to the code behind it. He started working on the Trinity wallet later that year under the guidance of Navin Ramachandran, Charlie Varley, and the rest of the Trinity team, and he quickly became familiar with the code and underlying frameworks. Since then, he has helped fix bugs and add new features to the app. He can not wait to see what the future holds for Trinity and IOTA.
Rajiv joins IOTA as a software engineer. In this role, he will focus on the Trinity wallet.
I am honored to have the opportunity to work with the other members of the IOTA Foundation. They've taught me so much about entangling and programming in general. With such a strong team, I'm confident that IOTA will solve the blockchain industry's issues, such as scalability and fees. The Internet of Things will become an important part of our lives in the future, with IOTA at the forefront. I am looking forward to contributing to such a promising project.
Rajiv's experience in mobile development will be important to the Trinity project and we are very pleased to announce that he is joining the IOTA team. Welcome!
